The Global Education Office hosts Lecture Series every year. The second lecture of this year was held on June 13, 2019, co-hosted by the School’s Assessment and Evaluation Committee. First, Ms. Emi DiCriscio* gave a lecture entitled “The Frontline of Child Welfare Practice in the USA: Protecting Children from Abuse and Crimes”. Then, an engaging discussion followed with the participants on how we can protect children and families from child abuse and neglect, as well as what Japanese society can learn from the case in the USA. The lecture was well received by the attending faculty and staff members, and students.
